You probably know already that in order to complete the latest mission in The Sims Social, Mani-Pedi and a Haircut you must perform on three different Sims the exact interactions that are in the title (which are Manicure, Pedicure and Haircut) but probably you noticed that the interactions are locked. So how to perform Manicures, Pedicures and Haircuts in the Sims Social? Read on to find out!
First of all, in order to get the chance to complete any of the actions, you must purchase the Comfy Gal Recliner Spa Deluxe from the Sims Social store. Next, it's pretty easy:

How to Splash In The ShowTime Ritzy Dip Pool, How to Dance Like Nobody's Watching & More
The latest mission series that was released in The Sims Social challenges us to perform a lot of actions that we and our Sims are not used to, like Dance Like Nobody's Watching, Splash In The ShowTime Ritzy Dip Pool, Shuffle Cards On A ShowTime Card Trick Table and Conjure Fluffy The Pet Bunny. In order to save you from some terrible head aches trying to figure out how to do these actions, I have decided to write this "how to" article and tell you exactly what you have to do to complete the requirements. It's easy!
How to Splash In The ShowTime Ritzy Dip Pool in Sims Social
All you have to do is to visit Bella's House and click on the pool (it looks like a glass of pink martini) and select "Splash".
How to Dance Like Nobody's Watching in Sims Social

Step By Step Guide to Mastering Your Career in The Sims Social
The good folks over at the Playfish forums have shared with us a complete and amazing guide to the Sims Social careers and I am sure you are all curious to read an in-depth and rather complete guide, so I have decided to share it with you below, so that you know exactly what to expect from this new feature in the game. Stay tuned for even more in-depth details as we dig through this feature and find out amazing new things!
Step 1: Click on the brand new careers icon!
You’ll see this as a button next to your Sim’s face in the bottom left hand corner of the screen. This is where you will always be able to access careers.
Step 2: Pick a career!
You have a choice of careers to pick from. Each one takes you on a different journey with different rewards to collect! You can move your mouse cursor over each reward to find out more about it
Step 3: Choose a job to do!
Earn simoleons and, more importantly, Career Points that help you work toward promotions, by completing jobs from your new chosen career.
All you have to do is select a job you want to perform and then make sure you’re back in time to collect the rewards.
In the meantime, you can close the window, but make sure you keep an eye on the icon next to your Sim’s head to see how much time remains.
When the appointment is ready, you’ll see the bag with a tick mark next to it.
Top tip: Make sure you arrive for work in time! Punctual Sims get double Career Points!
Step 4: Go to Work!
Now, you can click on the “Go to Work” button. You will need to use 1 to 3 energy to activate this.
You will then see an animation of your Sim at work and your rewards appearing:
Notice that sometimes you’ll get a special collectible when you go to work! These “Career Tokens” are specific to each career. They are special because you can use them on special jobs.
This special job gives you a lot more coins and Career Points. Remember, these tokens will sometimes drop from doing other jobs in your career! So if you need more, book more tasks.
As you complete jobs, you’ll get better and better at it. Your mastery at a job is shown by the number of stars. 1 star means you’re pretty good, 2 you’re better yet and 3 you’re freaking amazing at this job. The reward for getting stars on each job is - of course! - more earnings. So you can get more Career Points and Simoleons for each mastered job.
Some jobs are special! You’ll need to collect tokens to be ready to do these special jobs but the rewards are super worth it! Arrive on time and the rewards are even better!
Step 5: Get Promoted!
As you earn Career Points, over time you’ll work your way up to a promotion! When you do, you’ll be presented with a quest to see if you’re ready to climb up the ranks in your chosen career!
DID YOU KNOW? If you have reached a quest promotion, you will still be able to book a job: just click on the jobs tab! However, you will not earn any Career Points. You must complete the quest promotion to continue to earn Career Points!
Each Career Level is divided into 3 Steps. So you will need to get promoted 3 times to get to the next Career Level. Look out for the I, II and III levels in each icon - this will tell you how far you’ve come in your current role before your big promotion!
When you get promoted, you’ll get the following prompt!
Upon getting promoted to a different Career Level (like from Air Guitarist to Karaoke Singer), you’ll earn special exclusive skill items, clothing, decoration items and even special skill-enhancing traits!
NEW Traits!
When you reach the 5th level of each Career, you will unlocks a new trait that you can use to earn more simoleons when you work on skills related to your career! So now working on your burger flips will help you earn more simoleons when you cook at home, too!

Step 6: Work hard - PLAY hard!
Whether you’re on the fast track to becoming the greatest rock star of all time or you’re making use of your cooking talent, everyone will be doing something different! Tell your friends about your Sim’s ambitions and see who gets to reach the top of their careers first!

The Sims Social Toyota Prius Is Nice, Temporary and Gives Energy
We've been waiting for cars to be introduced in The Sims Social for quite a long time now and we finally have it: the Toyota Prius is here in the game as a reward for completing the Green Up Your Act missions. Although it is really easy to get, I have decided to share with you the details about the Toyota Prius and answer some of your questions.
Oh, yes, and start with an image of the Toyota Prius (courtesy of quintesqe):
Now, the biggest question about the Toyota Prius is: will we keep this car forever?
Unfortunately, the answer is negative. The Toyota Prius can only be kept for two weeks in the game. It's just a promotion in the Sims Social.
However, there is a good thing about the Sims Social Prius: you can collect daily from it and it rewards some much needed energy! So don't put it in storage just yet (you lose the counter and have to wait again for the bonus), just keep it near the house - it's a little gem!

How to Get Your Own Vacation Home in The Sims Social
So, it's finally here! The Vacation Home has just been released in The Sims Social and it will deliver us a brand new place to decorate and live in. The Vacation Home or the Beach House can be purchased in the game and unlocked for the Life's a Beach missions and, of course, for our own pleasure. If you want to know everything about the new Vacation Home in the Sims Social and how to get your Beach House, read on - it's very easy!
First of all, you will notice that a new icon has appeared right next to your Avatar's portrait: the Locations button (some might not have it yet, but soon will!) and all you have to do is to click it.
After clicking the locations button, you will be presented with a map, and you will see that there is a "For Sale" item - a new house near the beach. Click to get it - that's your vacation home!
Finally, you will have to meet some requirements: it costs 19,000 Simoleons and also requires you to have 5 Certificates and 10 Contracts. After meeting the requirements, you will have to wait for 24 hours for the "formalities" to happen and you'll get your own Vacation Home on Littlehaven Shores.

The Sims Social Revenge of The Simch Mission Series Guide
A new series of missions has been released in The Sims Social, and today it's all about the Revenge of the Simch. A brand new series of missions has been released in The Sims Social alongside a bunch of extra stuff to decorate our rooms (more about this shortly) and I am here to share all the details with you. The new mission series is titled It's a Date, and we have 7 new goals to complete in order to successfully finish it. The Sims Social Land Expansions Guide Here
Hello, fellow Sims Social players! Playfish has decided to bring some happiness to our virtual Sims Social homes by unlocking a series of Land Expansions in the game, after teasing the new feature just a couple of days ago. I am sure you are curious to find out everything there is to be known about the Sims Social Land Expansion, so read on in this article for a complete guide.
The land expansions available in the game will be introduced to you by a simple mission, Landing Party:
There is a total of 9 land expansions available for us to purchase, and you will see the "For Sale" sings surrounding your house:
Clicking on any land parcel that you wish will bring up the purchase menu and you'll see the requirements for your purchase. In the case of the first land expansion, it costs you 2,000 Simoleons, 3 Contracts and 1 Signature (for these later two items, you will need to ask your friends):
However, don't you think that for all land expansions, the same requirements will apply. As you purchase more land expansions, their prices will increase, so start gathering as many Contracts and Signatures as possible in The Sims Social!

Sims Social Tips: Reviving 10 Plants for Completing the Mission
For the Need to Know mission in The Sims Social, one of the requirements is to Revive 10 Plants and everybody is complaining that it's really difficult to find neighbors with withered plants to revive. However, I am here to share with you a very simple trick that will certainly help you complete the mission faster:
If friends revive your own plants, they count towards the quest's limit, so there's no point in searching for dead plants at your neighbors', but instead let yours die and wait for your friends to revive them.
Also, if you have some real friends playing the game, you could talk to them and ask them to plant some plants and let them die, just for you to revive. This way, you will finish the Revive 10 Plants mission even faster.

Like A Good Neighbor
10 Ways On How To Be Your Friend's Favorite Neighbor
Hi, all! I'm Coz and I'm delighted to now be contributing to The Sims Social Info. You may have seen my house in a recent posting. Of course, it's changed a bit over the last 24 hours as I'm constantly tinkering with things, but it's still basically the same.
For my first article, I'd like to point out some tips on how to be a good neighbor in The Sims Social. They're important to remember because you need your neighbors to be good as much as they need you.
Now, I know some of these things can only be achieved if you have the money to do so (like having a couch), so just keep them in mind for when you are in the position to follow them.

For my first article, I'd like to point out some tips on how to be a good neighbor in The Sims Social. They're important to remember because you need your neighbors to be good as much as they need you.
Now, I know some of these things can only be achieved if you have the money to do so (like having a couch), so just keep them in mind for when you are in the position to follow them.
- Have a couch in front of your TV (Also, have a TV)
I can't tell you how many times I've tried to interact with my neighbors by watching TV with them only to find out they don't have enough room for the both of us to sit down on. This also became pretty frustrating when, during a quest, I needed to watch TV with 6 friends. This quest would have never been achievable if they didn't have a TV or the couch for us both to sit on. - Have a radio
This gives your friends the ability to dance with you and the more things you can do with your neighbors when you come over to visit, the less boring it gets. Be sure to put it in a place that two people can stand close to, too… which brings me to #3... - Be aware of your interactive objects' surroundings
Don't place a canvas or musical instrument in between two other items. Your friends will not be able to paint a portrait of you or play for them. I have not been able to figure out which side needs to be open. It may differ for each thing (which seems like a bug to me). It seems in some places, I can't paint someone's portrait if the left side is blocked but at another friend's house, I can. So leave both sides open, if you can. On a similar note, make sure your couch has enough room to walk around it. And finally, make sure anything you have that can break has one side open so you or your friend can repair it. - Have a bare counter in the kitchen
If you're going to have an oven, leave a counter-top bare. This will not only help you with your cooking, but also allow your friends to cook you things while they're visiting. - Be aware of your doorways
Make sure all your doorways are usable and you don't have anything in the way of them. Also, make sure you HAVE doorways to all your rooms. I had this one friend who made his front door lead into a room with nowhere to go and flowers blocked the pathways to anywhere else outside, too. I couldn't interact with him for days. Then I finally told him about it. - Have garbage cans and/or trash bins
They seem pretty useless at first, but part of my daily 5 ritual (when using up my 5 daily bonus energy on my friends) is to rummage through their garbage cans. This gives me 10 XP, 5 Simoleons, and sometimes an Energy bolt. - Let your romantic friend Woohoo! you
If someone wants to Woohoo you, why wouldn't you do everything possible to allow them to? Am I right?! So if you have a romantic relationship with a friend, make sure your bed is big enough for the both of you. You can still Woohoo in the shower or tub, but y'know… sometimes we need a soft place we can bounce on. (I've never had this problem because I've always had a full-size bed, but I heard this was an issue. If Woohoo'ing is not a problem on a single bed, then disregard this) - Help them complete quests
You'll really be appreciated when you have these other items, which will help them complete quests… even if you have no use for them.- Mirror: A necessity for a quest. Your friends will appreciate that you have a mirror they can use, even if you never use it.
- Phone: Also needed to complete some quests which require making phone calls. It's nice to go over and use free energy on a friend's phone.
- Garden plots: They will help your friend when they're sent on quests to water and/or revive crops.
- Keep up your end of the relationship
Relationships are a two-way street in real life, just as they are in The Sims Social. If I'm spending my daily 5 on you and you're not spending them on me, then our relationship begins to deteriorate pretty quickly. Ever get those reminders pop up from your friends saying they haven't seen you in awhile and our relationship status is grey and dropping? But you were just over there yesterday? Yeah. It's not your fault. I'm currently trying to keep 4 or 5 friendships afloat all by myself right now and I'm sure it's because they're not coming over to spend time with my Sim. tsk tsk tsk. - Let them know you've visited
OK! So now that you're keeping up your end of the relationship and visiting your neighbors every day, it gives you the option to tell your friend that you've visited… do it! You give them money and stuff! Don't you like when your friend does that for you? :)

Complete Guide to Sims Social Skills and Levels
There are a lot of skills in The Sims Social which can be obtained by interacting with different objects. So even if you feel that sometime you get stuck and it appears impossible to further increase your skill, that is probably incorrect and you only need to find the correct item to interact with (usually purchasable from the market). However, in order to help you with this guessing thing and give you a chance to actually do things easier, forum user Aqua_Yurika has decided to create a complete guide to Sims Social Skills and Levels and, of course, the items to interact with. Before checking out the guide itself, we should read the following notes:
NOTE: Currently, all skills level can only be leveled up to 84/85. If you want to go higher, you have to spend SIMCASH/real money/facebook credits.
NOTE 1: If you know for sure that you won't be able to unlock the next level, don't level up all your skills. Ex: You're at level 50, the next skill to unlock is level 55, and you don't have enough ingredients for 5 whole levels (or 2, if you have a x2 and x3 skills left) --> Don't level up. I'm noting this because sometimes you may get a quest that asks you to do a writing action or something, or get a level up, and you have nothing left to do.

Sims Social: How to Be in a Mean Relationship with Other Sims
The new series of goals in The Sims Social, Get a Celebrity Stalker, has a mission - the second goal in the series to be precise - which requires you to be in a mean relationship with 1 Sim. Many people seem to have a hard time knowing what to do to complete this requirement and how to be in a mean relationship with a Sim but I am here to help even though I am not really happy about that since it means being bad with other Sims.
However, these are the rules of the game and in order to be in a Mean Relationship in The Sims Social, all you have to do is to be nasty: visit a Sim and start insulting them and continue to perform insulting actions until you become enemies. That's when you will be in a Mean Relationship and you'll be able to complete the goal.
Even though I tend to play nice, it appears that it doesn't hurt to have an enemy or two in The Sims Social since many goals require us to perform mean interactions. So it's just like in real life: people with whom you don't get along with are part of your life too. Ah, schmucks!

How to Get Muse Faster in The Sims Social
You probably know already that Muse is a really important collectible in The Sims Social and it's required for many things in the game, like completing missions and increasing your skill level when it comes to various jobs or even to craft the valuable Inspired Potion. You also know from the Guide to Crafting that you can get Muse by performing Artistic and Music-themed skills in order to collect it.
However, there is a little trick to get Muse faster (or at least increase your chances at getting muse):
When Inspired (attention! you have to be Inspired for this to work!), go ahead and take pictures at birds and hedgehogs in your yard. There is a chance that they will give you one Muse after completing. Unfortunately, this does not work on neighbor yards, but I hope it will help you to get more Muse in Sims Social!
