Three New Free Gifts Available in The Sims Social

Starting today, there are three new gifts that we can send to our friends (and receive back) in The Sims Social and we should focus on at least one of these gifts because they can bring us a ton of Simoleons fast (and we should hurry, because Playfish might change their value soon!)

The three new free gifts available in The Sims Social starting today are the Teru Teru Bozu, Assorted Flowers and a Piggy Bank.

The first of these three items - the Teru Teru Bozu - is extremely valuable because right now it can be sold for 200 Simoleons each, which means that we can make a few thousand Simoleons easily if we have some active neighbors to send them soon. And also sell them ASAP because, as I said, Playfish might change their value to prevent us from getting filthy rich.

Do you like these new free gifts in The Sims Social?

Sims Social Study: How to Get Both Simoleons and Social Points with One Action

I think that when energy is starting to get low (and nowadays, following the recent changes in The Sims Social, energy is harder to get), we should try to maximize the revenue we get from interacting with our neighbors. Therefore, I have decided to create a list (which might not be complete) of interactions that you can perform or actions that you should to in order to get both Simoleons and Social Points in The Sims Social - since this rarely happens and it's Simoleons and Social Points that are the basic currency in the game.

So here is a list of actions that you can perform in The Sims Social while visiting your neighbors in order to get both Simoleons and Social Points:

- Interact with the Fish Tank, get 2 Social Points and 20 Simoleons
- Workshop Table for 2 Social Points and 5 Simoleons
- Make Bed (although this is not always an option) gives you 1 Social Point and 5 Simoleons

And this would be the list for now - if you know any other actions that you can perform to get both SP and Simoleons, please let us all know in the comment section below. And, of course, don't forget to share this article with your fellow Sims Social friends on Facebook! Thank you!

Get a Free Bath Kit in The Sims Social

I guess that it's the first time that Playfish is offering a free decoration as part of their Fan Appreciation Month in The Sims Social and we should be happy about that, because we're talking here about a Japanese Themed item, the Bath Kit that is offered for free to all the Sims Social players out there. I am sure you want to get yours now, so just click the link below the picture showing you the item and you'll get it:

- Click here to get your free Bath Kit in The Sims Social

Do you like receiving free items in the game or you'd rather get Simoleons or Social Points?

Sims Social Tip: How to Decrese Storage and Store Unlimited Items!

Hello there, fellow Sims Social players! Today I am here to share with you an amazing tip that will help you decrease that storage number and allow you to virtually store unlimited items in The Sims Social. So if you want to decrease your storage limit or simply store a ton of items, here is what you should do:

- Build a new room (or empty a room that you can do without)
- Put all the items that you want to store in that room (don't forget that stacking the items allows you to put there a ton of items)
- Store the room

This way, all the items inside the room will automatically get stored but fortunately they won't be counted towards the storage limit, so therefore you can store as many items as you feel like this way!

Don't forget to share this valuable Sims Social tip (if you think it's valuable, of course) with your Facebook friends and if it's your first visit here, don't forget to like our Facebook page to always stay up to date with The Sims Social!

Funny Sims Social: When Sims WooHoo Alone...

Well, we all know that unfortunately there are a lot of bugs and glitches in The Sims Social and I am here to share one with you - actually one really funny glitch too: a Sim in The Sims Social that WooHoos alone. Probably this is what should be called WooHoosturbation, or something like this.

Either way, here is the funny image of the Sim that WooHoo's alone:

Thanks a ton to Jelle85 on the Sims Social forums for posting this hilarious image!

Sims Social Changes Include Removal of +1 Return Energy Gift

The team over at Playfish have decided to tweak and polish The Sims Social a little bit and after offering us a ton of freebies, I guess they decided to upset us a little bit: several changes have been made to The Sims Social and, even though most of them are beneficial to the players, there is one specific change that will certainly upset many. Let's see what are the changes first:

- For returning +1 Energy Gift, you now receive 10 Simoleons (instead of 1 Energy)
- You get XP from interacting with neighbors
- Profits from harvesting crops have been raised
- When inspired, your Sim will get double the amount of money he or she would normally get

So as you can see, these are mostly good changes - from a player's perspective, except for the +1 energy thing that certainly makes things a little bit more difficult than before. But I am sure we'll eventually learn how to live with that, won't we?

Get 300 Free Simoleons and 25 SIM CASH in Sims Social

Well, I must be honest and tell you that I never thought that Playfish could still impress me with the free things they are offering in The Sims Social after splashing the Simoleones on us during the past few days, but it seems that they overdid themselves this times and came with an amazing offer: 25 FREE Sim Cash, which is the premium currency in The Sims Social, which is purely WOW! You won't get to click any link in order to get your free Sim Cash - however, the money will be automatically added to your account if you started to play The Sims Social before this reward went live (so if you started yesterday - congrats! You are 25 Sim Cash richer!).

Also, the developers are offering us a bit of Simoleons too in case we spent them all - 300 this time and you can get them by clicking the link below:

- Click here to get 300 free Simoleons in The Sims Social

There is just one problem with it, except for the fact that it's a limited time item available for purchase for just the next 24 hours: it costs no less than 225 SimCash to purchase from the market. Ouch. It does five you 33,250 extra house value but still ouch!

What do you plan to do? Will you buy the amazing Plenty Falls Waterfall for 225 Sim Cash or save your money?

Get 2,500 More Free Simoleons from The Sims Social

Playfish like to keep it fair play and they have decided, after seeing that they have written the wrong instructions for the Big Trouble in Littlehaven mission 3 (which requires you to purchase any Japanese items, but you actually have to buy Japanese furniture only), to offer us 2,500 free Simoleons to say sorry. Sorry accepted, folks! Now just click the link below in order to get the 2,500 free Sims Social simoleons:

Guess this makes the pain go away faster, right?

Big Trouble in Littlehaven Problem with Purchase of Japanese Items

Hello, friends! Just a quick note to help you get past the Big Trouble in Littlehaven Mission 3, specifically the requirement that says "Buy 4 indoor living room items from this week's Japanese range". It all seems to be pretty easy to do, but things are a little bit different: if you try to buy some Japanese themed items from the Sims Social market, you will see that they are not counted towards the progress of the mission.

And this happens because you actually have to buy ONLY furniture items and there's not a huge load of them to choose from. Below are the only items that you can purchase in order to make them count in the Big Trouble in Littlehaven Mission 3:

Pretty expensive items, and if you've already spent your Simoleons getting other Japanese themed decorations, you'll probably have some trouble getting them. But at least now you know what to do in order to get past the Big Trouble in Littlehaven Mission 3.

Don't forget to let all your friends know about this little bug fix by sharing this article with them!

Get 500 FREE Sims Social Points Now!

I am really happy to be able to share with you the link for the 500 free Sims Social Social points, so click the link below to get them:

In the Past 2 Weeks The Sims Social Lost Around 30 Million Players

I can only say that I feel cold chills on my spine when I look at these numbers: in the past 16 days, The Sims Social has lost almost half of its monthly active user base or around 30 MILLION monthly players! On the 15th of October the decline started with a huge drop of around 18 million players and kept going steadily until it reached this huge number. And today, there are just 38 million active Sims Social players, as opposed to the 65 million that was the peak of the game. And that's happening just months after this amazing game was released on Facebook. Here is the huge drop in popularity:
The exact reasons behind this super big drop in active players is not known, but it could be safe to think that the constant connection problems and other bugs like blue circles and being unable to fully experience the game was enough for many who stopped playing. Because a similar drop (even though not as big) was recorded for The Sims Social daily active players, with the numbers dropping from 10 to 7 million:

Do you have friends that have stopped playing The Sims Social? Do you know their reasons?

[Source for the graphs: AppData]

Sims Social Blue Circles Arrive in Real Life too

If you didn't get bored and frustrated of seeing the blue circles in The Sims Social lately, it means you're extremely lucky! On the other hand, tons of players have seem nothing but blue circles in The Sims Social and this made them create a club of their own to make fun of the problem: the Blue Circles Club of The Spins Social. Absolutely and really funny! Because here is what usually happens:

But even funnier is the fact that one player decided to use photoshop to create the Blue Circles from The Sims Social using a real life image, showing us what would happen if The Sims Social was real. Gladly it isn't, otherwise we'd all risk dying of hunger (at least). Click the image to see it bigger:

If you want to join the Sims Social Blue Circles club, you can do so on the official Playfish forums.

That's all I can say when it comes to this brand new freebie offer from Playfish for The Sims Social players: no less than 3,000 free Simoleons for us to collect, just one day after giving us 1,000 free Simoleons. This is turning into a habit that might backfire eventually on Playfish because, most likely, they will sometime have to stop delivering all these goodies. But until that happens (if it ever happens), I say we should enjoy the Sims Social freebies and click the links below to get us 3,000 free Simoleons from Playfish:

- Get 2,000 FREE Simoleons here.
- Get 1,000 FREE Simoleons here.

Don't forget to share the news on Facebook so that your friends can too enjoy these great links and free Simoleons in the game!

Check Out Sarah's Inspirational Sims Social House Design

Being inventive and paying a lot of attention to detail is one of the main things that you should do in The Sims Social and that's exactly what our dear reader Sarah did, creating an amazing Sims Social house - and that's the reason why I decided to share with you this inspirational design.

What I like most is the fact that she kept the same warm, color tones when creating her Sims Social house, with red (one of my favorite colors too) being present everywhere, adding a nice touch and a blue living room where all the fun must happen. Congratulations Sarah, that is a really sweet house design!

If you think that you have a house design worthy of being posted here on The Sims Social Info, send me the screenshot at simssocialinfo@gmail.com

The Sims Social Problem: Game Reloads after Buying Skull Mask

Hello there, fellow Sims Social players! I am having a very annoying problem in The Sims Social and it appears that I am not the only one who has it: every time I go and purchase my Skull Mask I get an error message and I have to reload the game. And, of course, the problem is that the purchase is not save and if I want to get the Skull Mask again, the game will ask me to reload as well.

I have tried to check out a solution for this problem in The Sims Social with the Skull Mask, but it seems that for the moment there is none. However, fortunately, the folks over at Playfish are working to fix this problem for those who have it, so hopefully we'll soon be able to get our Skull Mask in Sims Social without having to reload.

Are you having reload problems after getting the Skull Mask or you're one of the lucky ones?
