How to Get Shells in The Sims Social

The release of today's amazing feature in The Sims Social, including the launch of Vacation Homes and the Littlehaven Beach or Littlehaven Shores also introduced a new item that we can find and use, Shells. Since the Sims Social Shells are newly introduced items in the game, I have decided to share with you some details on how to get them.

1. The easiest way to get a lot of them is by asking your friends.
2. You can also find them washed up the the sea on the beach - they appear randomly and obviously it's not the fastest way to get them.
3. Finally, you can get Shells in The Sims Social by selecting the "Look for Shells" action on Tide Pools (try Bela's house, for example).

Shells are required to complete one of the quests in the Road Trip series, but also required to build Woven Palm and Planks in the game.

How to Get Your Own Vacation Home in The Sims Social

So, it's finally here! The Vacation Home has just been released in The Sims Social and it will deliver us a brand new place to decorate and live in. The Vacation Home or the Beach House can be purchased in the game and unlocked for the Life's a Beach missions and, of course, for our own pleasure. If you want to know everything about the new Vacation Home in the Sims Social and how to get your Beach House, read on - it's very easy!

First of all, you will notice that a new icon has appeared right next to your Avatar's portrait: the Locations button (some might not have it yet, but soon will!) and all you have to do is to click it.

After clicking the locations button, you will be presented with a map, and you will see that there is a "For Sale" item - a new house near the beach. Click to get it - that's your vacation home!

Finally, you will have to meet some requirements: it costs 19,000 Simoleons and also requires you to have 5 Certificates and 10 Contracts. After meeting the requirements, you will have to wait for 24 hours for the "formalities" to happen and you'll get your own Vacation Home on Littlehaven Shores.

What do you think about the release of this new house in The Sims Social? Wasn't it something you've been waiting for a long time?

The Sims Social Life's a Virtual Beach Mission Series Guide

I hope you're just as excited as we are here at the Sims Social Info about the release of Vacation Houses in the game in the new area - Littlehaven Beach. Of course, this new feature (which is also the biggest since the game's launch) didn't come alone: we already have the teasing Road Trip missions, but also a new series of missions that introduces the new area to players, Life's a Virtual Beach. And probably no puns are intended here.

Either way, I am sure you are curious to find out more about the Life's a Virtual Beach missions in The Sims Social, so read on.

Move Your Sims Social Sim to a Vacation Home in Littlehaven Shores

WOW! This is everything I have to say about today's update in The Sims Social - certainly one of the biggest, if not THE biggest update the game has seen since launch: Littlehaven Shores has been launched, allowing us to take our beloved Sims to a vacation home which comes with a ton of new content and extra goodies.

The Littlehaven Shores and Vacation Home feature have been introduced to the game via the Road Trip Mission series about which I have already posted all details.

You can travel to your Littlehaven Shores vacation home from your base home right now and enjoy the beach and the ton of new items - and start decorating your new home, of course with a ton of vacation items. It almost makes me forget that it's still freezing outside and the vacation, at least for me, is still months away.

Even better, Playfish wants to bring even more Vacation Houses in the future to The Sims Social, so we should expect destinations like The Mountains, Country-side and much, much more. Things are looking great for the future of The SIms Social!

What do you think about the Littlehaven Shores Vacation Home that has just been released in the game (and The Sims Social Info is the first site to give you details about?)

The Sims Social Road Trip Mission Series Guide

After releasing a controversial mission series in The Sims Social last week, Playfish went a little bit more safe and gave us this week the Road Trip mission series, a rather decent series of quests that we must complete in the game. How to WooHoo With 2 Different Sims in The Sims Social

As you probably know by now, one of the biggest problems in The Sims Social for the recently released French Connection missions is that of meeting the requirement that asks you to WooHoo with 2 different Sims. So many are wondering what you have to do in order to accomplish that since, as you know it, you can only WooHoo with the Sim you have a relationship with.

Here is how to woohoo with 2 different Sims in The Sims Social

The secret is introduced recently by Playfish and goes hand in hand with the French theme that just went live in the game: you have to flirt with another Sim until you get the "Voules vous woohoo avec moi" interaction option (also required for completing one mission in the Sims Social French Connection series).

After selecting that option, you will be able to send a request for a new relationship level, "Naughty Friends". This is some sort of a "Friends with benefits" option it appears since after the other Sim accepts the new relationship status, a new interaction will be available: "Sneaky WooHoo".

Do this and you'll be able to WooHoo with 2 different sims in The Sims Social. And even more, and it appears that Playfish have finally allowed us to WooHoo with multiple Sims. Do you like it or not?

Get Your Free Le Cafe Grand Patisserie in The Sims Social

This time, The Sims Social is offering us a really big free item, the Le Cafe Grand Patisserie, a new skill item in the game that goes hand in hand with the recently released French / Paris theme in the game and is required for completing the French Connection Missions.

The free Le Cafe Grand Patisserie is introduced via a short mission in the game, A Fresh Start, a mini quest that requires from you the following:

- Place the Le Cafe Grand Patisserie in your home
- Do one Skill Interaction with the Patisserie

You will find the Le Cafe Grand Patisserie in the market under the Skill Items tab and fortunately it is free to take and doesn't require any building materials. Which makes it quite a great thing to have, after all!

Apart from being free and looking deliciously good, the French Patisserie and has 14 Mastery Levels. As a bonus, if you manage to complete all the 14 Mastery Levels in 2 weeks, you will receive a bonus of an Arrigo Coffee Machine, which is a cooking skill item. So don't waste any time and start using your free Le Cafe Grand Patisserie in The Sims Social!

Sims Social The French Connection Mission Series Guide

The French theme has been released in The Sims Social as announced and it brought us a pretty interesting new mission series, The French Connection series. And this is it! The French Connection Mission series, one that probably won't be that pleasing to the French people playing the game since it presents them as some sort of freaks. But this is a game, in the end, and we're playing for fun and the reward, which is - OBVIOUSLY - a Pistachio Paris Double Bed for your WooHooing pleasure with all those different Sims in your life.

Sims Social Go With the Flo Missions Guide

Do you want your own Progressive Unicorn in The Sims Social? How to Reprogram LoveBot in The Sims Social

The new Love Is in the Air mission series in The Sims Social comes with a requirement that might be confusing: Reprogram LoveBot Rosie 3 times and many of the players are wondering where to find the LoveBot in The Sims Social and how to reprogram it so I decided to create this article to help you with that.

The LoveBot Rosie will be released sometime soon in the game, but until then, you can find it in Bella's house, the place for all the new releases for the themed weeks.

There, you will be able to click the Lovebot robot and perform any of the following actions:

- are we compatible
- Kiss Test
- Love Match
- Reprogram

Of course, in order to complete the third mission in the Love Is in the Air series, you will have to select the Reprogram option three times.

Good luck!

The Sims Social Visiting Rights Mission - Invive Friends Over!

Playfish has decided to launch a very interesting feature in The Sims Social this week, the ability to invite friends over at our house by clicking a single button. This action is really helpful as it speeds things up a bit, allowing you to complete missions faster, since you can now ask friends to come over and perform the required actions at your house, without having to visit.

The new Invite Friends option in The Sims Social has been introduced by a new mission in the game, Visiting Rights that has 2 simple requirements:

- Ask a new Sim Over to Your House
- Do Somthing fun with the other Sim

If you want to start things in style, make sure to call your lover and Woohoo. I guess that's the funnest thing do be done anyway, right?

So if you were finding it difficult to visit some of your Sim friends because their houses took too long to load, with the introduction of this Invite Friends feature, everything will be faster and it will be easier for you to maintain a high profile social life.

Do you like this new option to invite friends over at your Sims house?

Alien Theme Might Be Coming to The Sims Social

It appears that it won't be long until aliens will be landing in The Sims Social and probably trigger an Alien Week theme sooner or later in the game, if we are to look at a fresh image that has been leaked from the Sims Social beta servers and published by The Sims Social Fansite.

The image, which you can see for yourself below, shows some strange looking garden drops in The Sims Social which some consider to be Asteroids or Meteors but at the same time they could be some sort of strange alien eggs or something... anything is possible! There are also satellites in the game that Playfish is considering releasing, so it's obvious that some sort of Alien theme is incoming.

However, it's not 100% sure that the image that you can see above will actually make it to the final game, as the developers always test out new stuff and decide not to release it. However, I guess that an alien theme would be absolutely amazing, so hopefully they will bring us cute little aliens to teach how to speak Simlish!

What do you think about the possibility of having a new Alien Theme in the Sims Social?

More Storage Is Coming to The Sims Social!

Storage in The Sims Social is becoming a major problem, even though Playfish has increased a while ago the storage capacity from 500 to 550 items. But with the themes delivering so many cool new items for our homes, it's no surprise to see that the regular players started, once more, to have problems with the Storage Space in the game.

However, we have some good news to share with you: Playfish has announced that they plan to increase the storage space, even though no exact release date for this feature was announced and no further details were given (so we don't know if we'll get an extra 50 storage space or extra 500 spots).

Games.com says that Playfish might consider simply deleting old items from the game to keep their servers light, but I doubt that such a measure would delight the players, if this means that they lose the items they have paid!

Either way, we'll see exactly what plans does Playfish have for the storage problem in The Sims Social when they decide to offer us something official. Until then, we can only hope that the storage problem will be dealt with as fast as possible.

What about you? Are you having trouble with the number of items you are allowed to store in the game?

The Sims Social Go for a PB - How to Do It

One of the requirements for completing the Sims Social Team Littlehaven quest series (part three of the series, to be specific) is to Go for a PB. I am here to tell you how to do it, because most Sims find it hard to get to a Treadmill in the first place and even after they perform the action, it still doesn't show as completed. But there are some tricks and I am here to tell you how to make the Go for a PB action work!

First of all, where to find the Treadmill: it will be released in the store on Monday, but if you don't want to wait that long, you can easily visit Bella's house and use her Treadmill!

There, after clicking the item, you will see that there are more possible actions, including the Go for a PB. If you click it, your Sim might actually get tired mid-way or get scared and this DOES NOT count as the action being completed! But you will see that the Go for a PB action will now be greyed out - in order to make it appear once more, you will have to complete other interactions with the Treadmill (like Walk or Jog) and then give it a new try.

Eventually, your Sim will manage to complete the Go for a PB action and you'll be allowed to move on with your missions (apparently, it's all random, although some reports say that the Athletic Skill helps here).

Hope this helped!

The Sims Social Sports Week Brings Just Two New Skill Items

As you probably know already, the Sports Week theme has just started in The Sims Social and most of us were really excited about this new theme since it seems to be the first "manly" release in the game for a long time at least. And although I wasn't expecting boxing classes or American Football courts to be released in the game, I must admit that I am pretty disappointed with the content that's part of this week's theme.

The Sports Week collection has indeed brought us a new Skill in The Sims Social, the Athletic Skill, but there are just two items that come with it and allow us to improve it and they're not that special: I am talking here about the Simiyoga Mat and the XRunner 3000 Home Edition... Not very impressive, to say the least!

However, we'll have to purchase these items like we always do, and I am here to share with you the details: the easiest to get is the Simiyoga Mat which only costs 1,000 Simoleons.

Next, the XRunner 3000 involves a little bit of work since it costs a big 35,000 Simoleons (but also gives an amazing house value of 13,000) and it also requires building materials: 12 Wrenches, 12 Entertainments, 15 Peaches, 10 Stopwatches and 5 Gym Shoes.

Hopefully Playfish has a few more items for the Athletic Skill in mind and ready for release in the near future.

Until then, tell us what you think about the Sports Week items in The Sims Social: do you like them or you are, like me, slightly disappointed?

The Sims Social Hut, Hut, Hut Quest Guide

The launch of the sports week theme in The Sims Social was a great time for the team behind our favorite social game to try and promote one of their other titles, Madden Superstars. They are doing it nicely with a new quest for us to complete, the Hut, Hut, Hut mission. Also it allows us to get into Superbowl spirit and vote for the team that we think will win it all (the Giants or the Patriots).

Read on the details about the new Hut, Hut, Hut quest in The Sims Social to learn what reward you can get. We'll start with the easy requirements for completing the quest, though:

- Play Madden Superstars on a Computer (you will actually have to pick the "Research Football Teams" interaction when using the computer)
- Phone in to pick who you think will win (and choose the Giants or the Patriots as your favorites!)

It is unclear right now if Playfish will offer us a special prize if we picked the winners, but for sure they will give us a Littlehaven High Medals frame after completing this short quest. Which, for me, seems a bit more interested and themed than the Team Littlehaven series!

The Sims Social Team Littlehaven Mission Series Guide

The long awaited Sports Week has launched in The Sims Social and this also means that we have a brand new mission series to complete in the game: Team Littlehaven is the name of this new mission series and it's cool like always and I am sure you will have a great time trying to complete it.

I am here to share with you all the details about the new quests released in the game and any tips that are necessary to complete the missions, so read on this guide to know everything about the Team Littlehaven missions!

Team Littlehaven Part 1
- Post an ad about the event (use mailbox)
- Tell 5 Different Sims about the trials

Team Littlehaven Part 2
- Have either Simiyoga Mat or the XRunner 3000 Home Edition
- Get Your Athletic Skill Star (using the mat, 5 energy needed)

Team Littlehaven Part 3
- Get some extra sleep by sleeping on different beds 5 times
- Have 10 Stopwatches (ask friends)
- Go for a PB (using your treadmill, but it comes next week. Alternately, you can visit Bella and interact with her Treadmill)

Team Littlehaven Part 4
- Research Rock Paper Scissors strategy on computers 8 times
- Have 6 Hope
- Beat different Sims at Rock Paper Scissors 7 times

Team Littlehaven Part 5
- Phone internet providers to have a faster internet connection 8 times
- Have 10 Memory upgrade
- Win online Rock Paper Scissors matches 5 times

The reward for completing the Team Littlehaven missions in The Sims Social is a Nacho Sombrero item, but I must say that I am pretty disappointed with the missions in this series. It's the sports week and apparently all the sports we're going to do is playing Rock Paper Scissors... since when is this game sport?????!!?!?!?!! Not to mention the quest reward itself, which has absolutely nothing to do with sports...

What do you think about this series, though? Does it tickle your pleasure spot?
